BITM Quote is a simple and
compact utility to permit automated downloads of ASCII text
security data from Yahoo! (Reg TM). Yahoo offers this internet
based service free to the general public. The BITM Quote utility
is distributed as advertising supported freeware. The BITM
Quote utility can be used by both Byte Into The Market users
and non-users. Byte Into The Market users can obtain free
online data for their technical analysis and charting work.

If at any time, Yahoo discontinues this service or alters
the formatting of the data they provide, the BITM Quote utility
may cease to function.

timeliness or availability of this data.
For all BITM Quote users, the software creates historical
ASCII text data files for specified Yahoo! ticker-symbols
by downloading information from Yahoo! and then reformatting
the data so it is suitable for reading by a variety of technical
analysis softwares, including Byte Into The Market. BITM
Quote also maintains these data files (adding additional
bars of data) in an automated fashion.
Historical data is stored by BITM Quote in CSV (comma seperated
value) extension ASCII text files.
